2025 AAOM/EAOM Joint Meeting Workshops

Make plans now to join us for one or more of the three workshops offered at the 2025 Joint Meeting of the American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM) and the European Association of Oral Medicine (EAOM) May 14-17at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
  • Laser Workshop (May 14)

    This workshop provides fundamental didactic knowledge, and the essential hands-on exposure required for pursuit of laser certification. Most of the didactic components, both online lectures and reading material, will be offered beforehand to participants in preparation for their in person hands-on sessions during the AAOM-EAOM meeting in Las Vegas, NV, USA on Wednesday, May 14. Registrants will be eligible to receive up to 9.5 CEUs continuing education credits.

  • Practice Management Workshop (May 17)

    This workshop provides comprehensive sessions with experts in building oral medicine practice. Experts will share practical guidance and in-depth details to help early and mid-career practitioners establish and maintain a thriving oral medicine practice. Pre-registration with extra fees and completion of the prerecorded didactic portion of this workshop is a prerequisite to attend the hands-on in person session.

  • Acupuncture Workshop (May 17)

    This interactive two-hour workshop is designed for dental professionals and oral healthcare practitioners seeking to expand their therapeutic toolkit through the use of ear acupuncture in managing complex orofacial conditions. The session will cover a range of clinical applications for auriculotherapy, focusing on the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, hyposalivation, neuropathic facial pain (including trigeminal neuralgia and persistent idiopathic facial pain), aphthous ulcers, and dental anesthesia or analgesia. Participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, beginning with a didactic lecture to explain the mechanisms, indications, and evidence-based approaches, followed by a hands-on practice session using silicone ear models.
